Lake Ol'bolosat

It is the only natural highland lake in Central Kenya, spanning around 43.3 km squared and sitting in an altitude of 2340 m above sea level. It is located in Nyandarua County beneath the foot of Aberdare Range . It is the highest lake of it size in East Africa, it is the source of Ewaso Nyiro River. It is a protected wetland and a Bird area, home to over 300 bird species.
