Lake Nakuru National park is one of Kenya's most iconic protected areas located in the heart of the Great Rift valley just 160km northwest of Nairobi. Its known for its black and white rhinos protected in a fenced sanctuary, flamingos, pelicans, scenic viewpoints including baboon cliff and out of Africa lookout. It forms part of the UNESCO World heritage-listed lake system of the Rift Valley and is one of the East Africa's most important wetland and endangered species conservation areas.
