Koobi Fora.
Koobi Fora is a world-renowned paleoanthropological site on the eastern shore of Lake Turkana in northern Kenya. It is famous for yielding critical fossils that trace human evolution. It is located inside Sibiloi National Park on a rugged remote eastern shore of Lake Turkana. The site was explored extensively since the late 1960s by Richard Leakey and teams associated with Koobi Fora research project and the National Museums of Kenya.
