Founded in 1925in Nandi County, Kapsabet High School is one of Kenya’s oldest and most prestigious national boy’s boarding schools. Established during the colonial era to educate African students, it has evolved into academic powerhouse, consistently ranking at the top of the KCSE. Known for its intense competitiveness and exceptionally low acceptance rates, the institution champions holistic development alongside academics. Kapsabet has nurtured many prominent leaders, most notably hosting two of Kenya’s presidents ; the late Daniel arap Moi and the current head of state, William Ruto.
