Maasai Religion

The Maasai religion is a montheistic,they have a single deity who is both masculine and feminine.Enkai or Engai they have two colours the black god and the red god. The black god is good one[[Engai Narok[Narok]]] and [1]the red god who is very vengefull, malicious. Enkai is not represented by any shape but by two colours red and black.

We have toems in [2] Oodo Mongi ,they do have totemic animal, which is a Lion. This was used by the Maasais as a rite of passagecurrently the Kenyan government has intervened to stop them from killing the lions. The mountain god, Ol Doinyo Lengai is located in northmost part of Tanzania and can be seen from Lake Natron in southern most of Kenya. The central most human figure in the Maasai religius system is the Laibon Mbatian. The Laibon's role include Healing, divination prophecy, shemanistic.
